How to redeem Roblox codes (step-by-step, 2026)

Updated July 1, 2026·By Marky & Hugosa

Every Roblox game handles codes a little differently, but the process is almost always the same three steps: open the game, find the code box, and paste an active code. This guide walks through it once so you can redeem codes in any experience — from Blox Fruits to Blade Ball — without hunting around.

The universal three steps

  • Launch the game inside Roblox and wait for it to fully load.
  • Open the code entry box. It is usually behind a Codes button, a Twitter/X (🐦) icon, a Settings gear, or a Shop menu.
  • Paste a code exactly as written, then press the Redeem or Enter button. The reward is applied instantly if the code is still active.

Where the code box hides

Developers put the box in different places, which is the single biggest reason people give up. If you cannot see a Codes button on the main screen, check these spots in order: the Twitter/X bird icon on the left or right edge, the Settings cog, the in-game Shop or Store, and any menu labelled Extra, More or Rewards. On simulators the box is very often inside the Shop.

Always copy — never type

Roblox codes are case-sensitive and frequently mix uppercase letters, numbers and dashes (for example REALLY-COOL-2026). Typing them by hand is the most common cause of an "invalid code" message. Use the copy button on our code lists so the code lands in your clipboard exactly as the developer released it, then long-press or Ctrl+V to paste.

PC, mobile and console

  • PC: click the box and press Ctrl+V to paste.
  • Mobile (iOS/Android): tap the box, then tap Paste from the pop-up.
  • Console (Xbox): open the game the same way; if a code box exists you enter it with the on-screen keyboard. A few games do not expose codes on console — in that case redeem on PC or mobile with the same account, since rewards are tied to your Roblox account, not the device.

Redeem quickly

Most codes are live for only a few days to a couple of weeks. When you see a fresh code, redeem it the same day. If a code fails, check our expired list for that game — if it is there, it simply ran out and no trick will bring it back.
